Intermittent Fasting: are you doing it wrong?
How hard can it be…just don’t eat for a while right?
Maximise the results from your effort
Intermittent fasting can be effective to help a range of concerns. It is a powerful tool assist weight management. There is also evidence that fasting reduces risks of diabetes, heart disease and inflammation. Awesome!
But, while fasting by itself can really help weight loss, new research from the University of Sydney* has shown the other health benefits from fasting alone really only apply to lab animals. Darn!
Humans only get these benefits when we make sure our diet is nutrient rich. So fasting, then eating potato crisps and cake is not going to work for healthy longevity. Unless you are a lab rat.
The other benefits only arrive when you focus on what you eat when your not fasting. Stay tuned to find out what the options are for that…
