Plexus is currently offering telehealth services to our residential aged care patients and medical centres. This service signals a new era of healthcare, utilising the latest information and communication technologies to deliver healthcare remotely, rather than in person. With telehealth, travel time is reduced and consultations are more flexible, giving doctors greater control over scheduling. As a result, patients experience faster access to care, with shorter wait times.

Allied Health
Aligning with our ‘whole of care’ health model, Plexus is exploring adding Allied Health services to our residential aged care facilities and medical centres. The specialised, multidisciplinary expertise of speech pathologists to social workers, psychologists to podiatrists, occupational therapists to physiotherapists, complements our clinical health teams allowing Plexus to prevent, diagnose and treat a wider range of conditions and illnesses in-house.

After-hours deputising
Ultimately, our goal is to make Plexus health services accessible 24/7, 365 days a year. Plexus is applying to become an after-hours deputising home service available exclusively to all of our residential aged care and medical centre patients. This unit will complement Plexus’ existing business model by working after hours, ensuring residential aged care patients are provided with uninterrupted access to care outside the scheduled weekly visits.
